The URS Investment team's efforts have a strong emphasis on Absolute Return, Real Assets, and Private Equity investments.

The Investment team implements the investment programs of Utah Retirement Systems on behalf of more than 250,000 public employees in Utah. The Team manages investments internally and partners with external firms to manage globally diversified portfolios across Public Markets, Absolute Return, Real Assets, and Private Equity. URS Investments collaboratively leverages expertise across asset classes. Total Defined Benefit Plan Assets (pension) were $45.2 billion and Defined Contribution (i.e., 401k) assets were $9.1 billion as of 12/31/2023.
